Changes to Practice Area Posted or Updated on 12 Mar 2024

Unfortunately in the interest of patient safety and maintaining a quality service, we regret that the Practice has found it necessary to reduce the boundary area of our Practice area in order to manage capacity.

It was important to us that those patients currently registered with us were not affected; as such we have set an outer boundary to permit all those who are currently registered with us to remain until such time as they more address.

However we will not accept any new patients who live in the outer boundary and any registered patient who moves into the outer boundary will be required to register with another GP Practice closer to their home.

Upon contacting the practice with your new address, we will notify you if your new address falls into our outer boundary.

It is important to note that if you are currently registed with us and do not move house you will remain registered with a full service.

Our new Boundary is restricted to:

Berwick Hills

Pallister Park

Brambles Farm

Nunthorpe

North Ormesby

Central Middlesbrough

Marton

Easterside

West Lane

Acklam

Overfields

Whinney Banks

Ormesby

Thorntree

New Patients residing in our outer Boundary (listed below) will no longer be able to register with this Practice

Patients moving into the outer boundary will have to re-register with a GP nearer to their new address

Normanby

Eston

Coulby Newham

Hemlington

Grangetown

Stainton

South Bank

Crossfell Health Centre is committed to providing a safe, comfortable environment where patients and staff can be confident that best practice is being followed at all times and the safety of everyone is of paramount importance.

Due to a steady increase in the number of patients and an unexpected reduction in clinical staff we have made the very difficult decision to reduce our outer boundary in order to safeguard the quality of the service that we strive to provide for our patients.

We are sorry that it has been necessary to take this course of action and trust that you understand the reasoning behind our decision.

Please note: Due to the sudden and unexpected reduction in clinical staff Crossfell health Centre has now closed the Practice List and is unable to accept any new registrations.
